NEWS

6/21/2010

Things have been busy here, as always. The Raw Nerves LP will be out by the time you read this, Hunting Parties is basically booked for the year, July 30th through August 1st, check the tours section for more details. I have sent off the next release for mastering so it should be done in no time at all. That particular release is from a new band out of Seattle called Frustration, they have a long resume of bands you know and love but they don't really sound much like any of them. They are taking a melody meets motorhead kind of approach. Maybe Born Dead Icons or Complications would be a good reference point, or whatever you think they sound like. Most of the EP can be heard in its unmastered glory at myspace.com/frustrationpunk . I am excited for that one, then up next the long delayed Resist Discography double lp and the Decrepit Discography LP. Funerot will be going on tour in August, and Frustration will be going in October. Preying Hands will tour Europe in the Fall, so keep checking the tours section for those updates. In old news there are still a few copies of the mailorder only version of the Fix My Head/ Knife in the Leg split LP on red vinyl. It made a couple top ten lists in the July issue of MRR, so congrats to them. That is it for now. I will try to update this more, but it is summer, so no promises. Hope to see you at Hunting Parties!

3/16/2010

It has been a while since I updated this, and I have to thank Rick Peterson for keeping my website updated. I should just suck it up and learn how to update the thing myself, but who has the time? So for the news, the Fix My Head / Knife In The Leg split is almost back. There is a limited red vinyl version for mailorder only. And the record comes with a free download coupon, so you can take it with you. The record rips. I am stoked as fuck on it. I hope you will check it out. There are mp3s uploaded to the myspace page and the facebook page. So check that out. And if you don't need the vinyl, it is available at www.moshpittragedy.com for download.

Besides that, work has begun on booking this year's Hunting Parties, I have my hopes high that it will top last years, and that I don't get as drunk and can remember more of it! A big announcement will come on that soon. I have heard a demo version of the new Raw Nerves LP, and it is sounding good. Dark, heavy and tight, more on that soon. They have a west coast tour some time around now planned and then an east coast tour after the record is out. Good news all around. After that the long awaited discographies for Resist and Decrepit. Always busy, always working.

1/5/2010

Happy New Year everyone! We are hitting the ground running this year, beginning with the new, long awaited Funerot LP "And Then You Fucking Die man" and to celebrate that, we are offering a limited preorder special, somewhere between 75 and 100 will be available and I think they will go very fast, so if the preorder button is on the page, you should probably act fast. The Preorder "Diehard" version will include the standard LP (we are taking a stand against colored vinyl, black vinyl looks and sounds best. We didn't get John Golden to master this to stick it on some shitty quality splatter vinyl) as well as a cassette joint release between Inimical and Nasjonal, and if you are familiar with their work -Christian Mistress etc.- you know they are producing quality tapes and records. It will also include a poster to spice up the deal a bit. It is $5 more than the standard version, so it is up to you to make the final call.

2010 will be a very busy year, brainstorming has begun for this year's Hunting Parties so expect an announcement of venues and headliners in the coming 2 months and the release schedual is looking pretty good too, all dates are estimated:

Funerot "And Then You Fucking Die Man" LP (Jan)
Fix My Head/ Knife in the Leg split LP (w/ download card Feb/Mar)
Raw Nerves "title tba" LP (w/ download card Apr/May)
Resist "Resistography" 2xLP (Jun/July)
Decrepit "Discography" LP (Aug)

If the one you want is further down the list than you would like, buy some records out of my catalog and move things along! Also, somewhere in there will be a Funerot collection CD, it will be a limited one time press just to collect all the vinyl only releases and make them available digitally.

Speaking of digital, Inimical records in proud to announce a partnership with Moshpit Tragedy Records to make our catalog available as high quality mp3s. One of the nicest features of MTR is the availabilty or the artwork in a printable form, so you are basically receiving a fished product and not just an mp3 with no information. The details of the deal are most of my back catalog including out of print and vinyl only releases will be available for a sliding scale beginning at free. For releases that are still currently available in a digital format (CD) the sliding scale will begin at $3, and future new releases will also begin at $3 and remain there for three months before reverting back to a $0-10 sliding scale. I think it works out best this way, and I am very excited to partner with MTR. That is it for now, but it is kind of a lot.

8/25/2009

A lot has happened in the last couple months! First off Hunting Parties went better than I could have imagined. It was great seeing so many friends from out of town and finally seeing some bands I have done records for like Sahn Maru and Preying Hands and some that I will be doing records for in the future like Fix My Head. So thank you all to those that made it out. I can't wait for next year.

I was able to premier the new Jesus Fucking Christ "Life's Hateful Seed" CD at the fest. It looks awesome. It is limited to 550 copies so don't wait too long to pick it up. It is also the final CD I hope to release. It is all vinyl from here on out. I haven't bought a CD in at least 6 months, and judging by sales, most of you haven't either!

The Preying Hands release is doing very well. The reviews are beginning to come in and are going well so far. They just completed a tour that went over very well. I really think they will do awesome in the next couple years once people hear more about them, and more importantly when they hear the record. Check that out.

The future is coming up very quickly and I have a ton of exciting stuff on the way. The new Funerot LP entitled "And then you fucking die, man" has been sent off to John Golden for mastering. It sounds like (early)COC met up with BOC and decided to jam with the Minutemen. Or something like that. It is not your average party thrash record. They have moved beyond that, this is something entirely different and awesome. After that I am doing a split between Fix My Head and Poland's Knife in the Leg, I haven't heard it yet but after seeing FMH live I am more than excited. After those two come out I will finally get to the Resist-ography. I would like to thank Resist for their patience. And then after that the Decrepit discog. Time to get to work!

Check the contact page for links to my distributors or just pick something up from me. It is cheaper here.

6/18/2009

I finally got my website updated. I would like to thank Rick for all the hard work in getting it up and running. So, label news, Preying Hands has now released their debut LP/CD. The LP will be back in a week (July 1st or so) but the CD is back now and it looks and sounds great. Check the audio page for a sample. Funerot has recorded their new LP "And Then You Fucking Die Man" and once I have some cash I will have that out. Jesus Fucking Christ will have a limited CD version of Life's Hateful Seed out in time for the fest I am doing called Hunting Parties, August 7th-9th here in Seattle. Check the Tours section for full info on that. Some other exciting news is that this new site now has a shopping cart. So feel free to buy one or all of my releases. It would make me happy. And for the nerds out there, I have put up a full discography page under the "releases" tab. So now you will know how rare that Slightly Less Than Nothing 7" was. I think that is it for now. But it is kind of a lot.

3/24/09

My debt is paid and I have a big check on the way. The Preying Hands (ex-ballast) LP has been recorded and just needs mastering and to go to press. Funerot enters the studio in a few weeks, we are taking our time with that one but I don't think it will take as long as we expect. Slightly Less than Nothinghas dropped their singer and changed their name to Nothing's Changed, just ruthless straight forward hardcore. Expect a 7" soon. The Decrepit Discography and Resist discog will come soon. Now that I don't have the old money issues, lets get down to business and make some records!

More info soon.

1/07/09

Guess who is a huge fucking slacker? This guy. It has been some time since I did any sort of update, but never fear, there are many exciting plans in action right now. I am just paying down a debt I created over the last 18 months or so. You will see new release in the coming months.

Besides that I wanted to mention a few things about my distribution, two good, one mixed.

First the good: I had until this point no solid distribution anywhere in Europe, I changed that and now have Active Rebellion handling things for the UK and I am sure beyond as well. So please contact them for my stuff as shipping overseas is brutal!

Also Relapse finally restocked everything I have still in print. So that is good news for those who would rather order from a more metal leaning place.

Finally, the mixed news: Many people are aware that Profane Existence will be closing the distribution end of the operation in about a week. I hate losing distributors, especially ones that were so important for me getting into record collecting and underground punk in general. It has been a pleasure working with PE and I wish them the best of luck in future endevours. The good news is that he is having a massive sale so go check it out and help him get done with the distro.

There will be announcements soon about upcoming releases such as JFC's "Life's Hateful Seed" CD (my last CD?) and the Decrepit discography LP.

And finally, a note to all the people who email me on myspace to "check out their band," myspace is not how I listen to music. In fact when songs come on I usually dive to turn off the sound. So if you would like me to hear your music or whatever, send a demo tape/cd/whatever to:

Inimical Records
P.O. Box 2803
Seattle, WA 98111

Thanks and I will try to update more!

8/26/08

I just recieved news that I will have the Cop On Fire CD delivered today. So I better start selling them. The LP will be back soon. So it may not be available for the first week of tour. That is unfortunate but an increasingly common reality. Also I am not sure why the image of the cover looks like shit but I assure you the actual ones do not. I will put up a better scan later. So with all that said here:

Cop On Fire "Discography"

And check the front page for tour dates!

7/26/08

The Jesus Fucking Christ LP is back. Looks and sounds great. I am very pleased. So order away! If you are in Seattle Aug 2nd, Check this out:

Inimical Records presents

That is all for now. The Cop On Fire record and CD will be sent out any day now.

6/23/08

Holy shit, three months since my last update. What the fuck?! Well this one is important. The second JFC LP, titled "Life's Hateful Seed" is at the pressing plant, the artwork has been approved. So it is up to them to get it to me in a timely fashion. It will be a little more expensive than the rest of my releases, but only $2, you cheap fuckers. Here is why, there is gold and silver ink on this, I hope it looks cool. That is a minor reason compared to the main reason and I believe this price hike will be permanent, gas is through the roof as we all know. Vinyl is a plastic, and plastic is an oil based product. The post office has raised prices again and I imagine they will again soon. So while I am not in this to get rich (I would be stupid to thik that) I am also not in this to sell a record beneath cost. Sorry. I would like to keep doing records so this is a bit of a necessary evil. Anyway, here it is:

3/17/08

So for those who don't need to hold music in their hands in CD or LP form, I have agreed to post mp3s at CAHdownloads. com

Essentially all the bands have agreed, with the remaining ones meeting with me to discuss it next week or so. So I will have a FULL catalog up for download.

This includes out of print material such as the Aldebaran/ Sod Hauler split LP, Splatterhouse/ Gruesome Stuff Relish split LP, Funerot LP and Slightly Less Than Nothing 7" amongst others.

Being that you don't get a tangible artifact, I am pricing these at $4.50 for full lengths and $1.20 for 7"s. Individual songs will vary wildly, from $.20 to $2.50 (just for the aldebaran track but it is 17 minutes long you cheap asses.) Basically I recommend buying the whole thing.

Also, things are coming along nicely with the second JFC album. Just waiting on the art to finish up and the final mix to happen. But it is close.

2/22/08

Sometimes I am a bit too lazy about updating this page. I should stop that. The Ballast CD and LP are both back. The band says that the remaster really did wonders for it. So, pick that one up. It is perhaps the catchiest album I have done. I am very proud to have been a part of its release.

In other news: The second Jesus Fucking Christ LP is nearing completion in the mixing and the art is being put together as well. We hope to have that out asap. They are also planning a trip up to the NW again July 31st-Aug 2nd. More on that later. As I announced elsewhere (ie:myspace) and clearly forgot to here, the release schedule for the year is:
Jesus Fucking Christ "Life's Hateful Seed"LP/CD (CD a little later)
Cop On Fire "Discography" LP
Decrepit "Discography"LP
Funerot "Nova 2" CD
Funerot tba LP/CD

So that is that for now.

1/8/08

Buy Now buttons are up for the Ballast CD and LP.

1/8/08

Buy Now buttons are up for the Ballast CD and LP.

12/16/07

Well, here is my last update of the fall. I had to get a second master of the Ballast album, but it is so much better that the wait is not too irritating. But I have shipped off everything for the CD and the LP. I should have both back around the middle of January.

JFC recently shot a video for one of the tracks off of the next record. It will be included on the CD version. The stills look pretty cool. So that is exciting to have coming up.

So I will recap all the prices Postage Paid. These are permanent prices that I just needed to move up the page;

11/02/07

The Sahn Maru LP is now available. Somehow I fucked up and left my label's logo off the back cover. But that will be fixed in future pressings, so buy this one and get the collector's item. The Ballast record's remaster was finished last night by Dan Randall (Strung Up/ Ghoul/Desolation) he did an amazing job with the Funerot record and I have high hopes for this one too. So I will send that off to press next week, if everything is alright. Then after that. the new JFC LP. A very exciting winter. That is all for now.

10/05/07

The Sahn Maru CD is now available. The LP version is being pressed now. So I have put up the pre-order info for that. It should be done for their show with AGE and Hellshock at 924 Gilman on Oct 20th. But if not it will be available for sure by Oct. 30th. A nice Halloween gift right? People give Halloween gifts, don't they? Anyway, other than that, the Ballast release will go to press very soon. And the second Jesus Fucking Christ LP will hopefully be done by December. More on that later, for now pick up the Sahn Maru LP or CD.

8/30/07

The Sahn Maru CD is Done and it rules. That is all for now. Also the Funerot "Nova II" LP is out of print from me. Find it with distros while you can.

8/08/07

It has once again been a little while since I last updated this. As you can see from the front page, another record is on the way. This time from Oakland's SAHN MARU, it is ten tracks of absolutely raging dark crust. Occasionally reminding me of a crustier Logical Nonsense or a His Hero IS Gone, it definately has the darkness that seems to always come out of Oakland. The CD will come out first and I will hopefully have the funds to do the LP very soon after that. Here is the artwork and you can pre-order it as well. I have already approved the art so it should be back within a week and a half.

In other news, Jesus Fucking Christ just came through Seattle and killed for three nights. They played I believe 8 out of the 10 songs that will make up their new CD/LP entitled "Life's Hateful Seed. They go in to record in late August so look for that before the end of the year.

The Ballast CD/LP of "Fuse" should come out between the two records, just waiting on artwork to come through.

Other than that, things are continuing in a forward motion. Buy a Funerot LP before they are all gone. Then you will have to settle for a CD next year, and that has no eBay resale value!!

7/01/07

Wow, nearly two months since an update. Sorry. The Spring Break!/ Zombie Ritual 7" and the Funerot MLP are both back. And both kick fucking ass. Also, I am down to only 80 copies of the Funerot MLP, so don't wait on that one. It will be gone soon! Up next is the Sahn Maru CD/LP and the domestic release of Ballast's Fuse CD/LP. So look for those to be out in about two months. Also, Oroku decided to call it a day half way through their last tour. I still have many CD's so pick one up. It will not be repressed again! That is all for now.

5/03/07

So the ones below are at full price, don't use them until it is out or you will pay full price. Thanks!

4/09/07

I no longer have any copies of the Whorehouse of Representatives CD or LP. I know that Un-Yelliman has a scant few left but I have none.

I have 4 copies left of the vomit splatter Jesus Fucking Christ LP. First come, first served. If you end up with a blue/ green one you were just too late.

And there is only one copy left of the Splatterhouse/ GSR split LP. So get that before I have to write this again.

The Zombie Ritual/ Spring Break! 7" is almost ready to go to press, basically it is ready but I need two weeks to get the money together. Soon after that, Funerot's "Nova 2" 12" will be at press, they will have it on their west coast tour, then the Ballast "Fuse" LP. Should be a crazy summer around here. I will keep everyone as up to date as possible.

That is all.

3/08/07

I just got some records returned to me. Two of them out of print. I have 5 copies of the Whorehouse of Reps. LP and 5 of the CD. I have put up paypal buttons again for anyone who gets to them first. This has been unavailable for quite some time now. Also I have 9 more of the Splatterhouse/ GSR split LP that went out of print on the recent SLTN tour.

Also in first last call notice, I have 18 copies of the Oroku CD left, and I am pretty poor right now so act fast, I don't know how long it will be before I can repress.

Also I have repressed the JFC LP on blue vinyl with green and white splatter. They look very cool, so specify if you want that or one of the last 10 vomit splatters.

And the SLTN LP and Procession Of Vultures 7" are done. Pick one up or get in touch for wholesale.

1/10/07

So, I have been lazy about updating this page. I will recap the intended updates: Happy New Year, thanks for making 2006 the most successful year yet and there are big plans for 2007. Already I have gotten the Sod Hauler/ Aldebaran split LP repress back. It is half gone as well. 220 on White vinyl. Pretty nice. I am stopping online sales of the Whorehouse LP as I have 3 copies left and will sell them on the west coast tour with Slightly Less Than Nothing this February. Come out if we are in your area. Should kick fucking ass.

In related news, the Slightly Less Than Nothing LP and Procession of Vultures EP are currently at press. They should be back in three to four weeks. So I have put up pre-order buttons for paypal users, including a button if you want to get both. Here you go:

The artwork is added below. Looks really cool. The PoV EP will have hand screened covers and the SLTN LP will feature more amazing artwork by Joe Vollan and a 16"x24" poster. Very cool. So yeah, pick them up and start this year off right.

11/29/06

I just updated this page then lost it all. I am pissed, but here it goes again. The Slightly Less Than Nothing LP is recorded and mastered. It is raw pissed off hardcore bridging the gap between old school and full on manical grind. Completely unhinged. We are just waiting on the artwork for that one, expect it in Late January.

The Procession of Vultures 7" EP has been recorded and is ready to be mastered. We have a lot of cool ideas for packaging, we have not decided on one yet. That will see the day in perhaps Febuary.

In the last chance/ first peak Dept: I have only 13 copies left of the Whorehouse of Reps. Double LP, and the CD is already gone! Also I am down to 12 copies of the Splatterhouse/GSR split LP and will hopefully be done with it before the Splatterhouse/ Funerot split 7" comes out in Mar. also out then will be a Spring Break!/Zombie Ritual split 7" making a very gory spring for all. The JFC colored vinyl is down to about 18 copies left, and I am getting low on the black too. Don't wait too long. And the first press of the Oroku CD is nearly gone too.

To wrap things up, I will also be doing a small repress od the Sod Hauler/ Aldebaran split LP. If the first press is any indication these will go fast. I am pressing 200 on White vinyl never to be done again. So pre-order one to make sure you get one:
$8 US/ email first for international orders.

11/10/06

The Oroku CD is available now. Currently it will be available through Profane Existence, Stickfigure, Sound Idea and more to come. They are touring Europe as of Yesterday and have copies with them. This record absolutely crushes. As a bonus it also features their first EP fully remastered and an exclusive bonus song from the LP recording session featuring Renae from Skarp as a guest vocalist. For PayPal users it is available online further down this page.

Slightly Less Than Nothing will be going into the Autopsy Room with Jesse O'Donnell in the beginning of November to record their LP "Less Fashion, More Thrashin'" and the Procession of Vultures 7" will be mixed soon as well. Stupid delays! Aargh! But this makes a busy beginning for 2007. More on everything soon.

10/30/06

This just fell into my lap. I will be releasing the Oroku Livinging Through The End Times CD it is $8 us/ $10 can/mex/ $12 world. Apocalyptic crust from these Kansas transplants. Now features Lisa from Garmonbozia on cello. Really heavy and dark.

Also there is still some color vinyl available for the JFC record. But just a little. Act fast!

8/8/06

It is out. It looks amazing, and you need to get one. The Jesus Fucking Christ record got back in time for their NW shows and was selling very well for a bar show. It was great to walk around seeing so many people with it. The buttons for preordering will still work to order now, so get on it. I have already sold half of the color vinyl and will not sit on it for too long before sending it to distros. A note to small distos, get in touch for small wholesale, I send color to small DIY distros. Email me for rates.mike@inimical.com It came out better than I thought it would with the art and poster and splatter vinyl all looking fantastic.

In other news, the rest of the year will be pretty hectic with releases coming at you all the time. What I am looking at up next is the Procession of Vultures 7", which is being remixed right now, and the Slightly Less Than Nothing LP now entitled "Less Fashion, More Thrashin'." They are going into the studio pretty soon to accomplish this. It will be a mix of their anthemic punk tunes and their more fierce technical thrash. Should turn some heads. And after that batch we have the winter gore, finally to be done in December I have two split 7"s to be put on all the Christmas lists. Gore meets thrash with the Splatterhouse/ Funerot split and a zombie party will happen as SD, CA's party grind crazies Spring Break! team up with Japan's Zombie Ritual. Nothing will make the fall go faster than the knowledge that those two are coming. But for now, pick up that JFC LP and rock the fuck out. And who knows what will happen next year.

7/06/06

The Jesus Fucking Christ LP/CD is mastered and the artwork is getting finished up. Basically that puts us at about a month for the pressing plants to take care of it and it will see the light of day. This record kicks so much ass, I don't even know what to say. Punk fucking rock. I will post pre-order buttons as soon as I ship everything off.

5/21/06

Inimical Records is honored to announce that we will be releasing the full length debut album from Oakland's Jesus Fucking Christ. For those unfamiliar, this is the band featuring Dave Ed (Neurosis) playing bass and backing vocals, Larry Rickets (The Rickets, Deadly Weapons) on guitar and vocals and Jamie from Pitch Black and Screw 32 manning the drums. Musically they play straight forward punk fucking rock, 80's Hardcore style with a dose of the Accused, Poison Idea and maybe Econochrist thrown in for good measure. This album is destined to be a classic punk record, running from ragers like "Cold Day In Hell" and "Anger Rising" to the more measured attack of "Deadly Levitation" and "Bloodshot" to the straight up rocking of "Panic Attack", they show the maturity to know a punk album doesn't have to be one song played 11 different ways. This album should disappoint no one into old school hardcore, nor any fans of old Neurosis waiting to hear Dave's signature roar.

Look for the album to be out this July, to be followed by a Japanese tour hopefully this Oct. Until then they will be playing pretty consistently on the west coast. Look out for them, they kill live.

5/13/06

The Skarp Picture disc LP is done. Pre-Orders have been shipped. Feel free to order. The usual places will have them soon enough. That is all.

4/29/06

The Skarp "Bury Your Dead" ltd. PicLP will be done in 2-3 weeks. They will have 100 copies on the road, that means it will be gone pretty quickly into the tour. So make sure you get yours and pre-order. It is $10. Slightly Less Than Nothing will be with them the first week of tour out to Minneapolis, so come out early and support.

Splatterhouse will also be on tour starting next week. They have 50 of the GSR split with them so pick one up it is almost out of print as well.

The clear vinyl version of the Whorehouse Discography is gone, you can still get it from Rick's label Un-Yelliman and many distros should have it for a little bit longer, don't fuck up and wait on this, they are really going quickly. But for music fans the black vinyl sounds great and is still available, I am almost out of the CD also.

Aldebaran's new full length that will be released through Parasitic records is immense and will seriously ruin your day, it is that good. They pretty much cleared out the up tempo stuff and are just suffocating doom. That will be out in a few months but before the Euro tour with Keen of The Crow, I will repress the last 200 of the Sod Hauler split at that time, on white vinyl.

Barring any unforseen bad luck Sod Hauler will resume playing shows in June. Good news indeed, the new stuff is definately going in the direction of the last release, more doom, more metal, heavier than ever.

4/8/06

The Skarp "Bury Your Dead" picLP is ready to go to press. So it should be done in a month, at the latest they will have it for tour. Skarp will be touring the US in June and July. Go see them. If you would like to pre-order the Picture Disc, it is $10 ppd. I added a button below for paypal users. Contact me for foreign prices, shipping is super expensive now.

In other news, I have 4 copies left of the Slightly Less 7", 35 of the Splatterhouse/GSR split LP, and only a couple of the Whorehouse clear vinyl left. So act fast for those. Once again the address is;

Inimical Records

Quickly, I will mention that the Aldebaran/ Sod Hauler split LP is out of stock. I will probably repress 200 more in about 9 months when Aldebaran has their LP out and Sod Hauler finally finds a drummer. To any drummers interested contact them Here. Also if you want a copy of the split they are still out there, just do a basic search on the internet, you should be able to find it for awhile.

I got the Whorehouse of Reps. LPs today, and the CDs are back too. You can order them through PAYPAL below. The vinyl looks amazing, the CD is a smaller version of it, also looking great. Pick one up today. Distributors get in touch, mike@inimical.com, otherwise, they will be in the usual spots. Check Ebullition, Stickfigure etc.

Both the CD and the LP of the Whorehouse discography are at the pressing plant, so if you were waiting to preorder now would be the time. Also the artwork is being prepared for the limited edition Skarp "Bury Your Dead" picture LP. And I will announce this now I suppose, Inimical will be pressing a limited edition (300 probably) 7" of the short lived band Procession of Vultures, this band features Andy from Skarp on bass, Brandon from Wormwood on guitar/vocals, Joey Maas from State of the Union, Wormwood, and the Arid Sea on drums/vocals, and Alan from Derailer/ Dirty Bearings (the skate company) on second drum kit/vocals. I recorded this band in 2000 or 2001 and it has two full drum kits, brutal political crust, fuck this is good.

1/9/06

The CD insert is basically done. The photo collage for the LP will be done this week. We are shooting for a early Febuary release. Sorry about the delay. These things happen. Also please note, I am releasing a limited edition Picture LP of Skarp's "Bury Your Dead" Lp. Limited to 500. Should be pretty nice. And go see Slightly Less Than Nothing if you live on the west coast.

I just put up some "Buy Now" buttons for Paypal on this page. They work so if you have paypal, you can now easily purchase shit from me. It isn't a shopping cart, So I think you have to do them one at a time, nothing's perfect and I don't know HTML. By the way if you would like to redesign my website - it needs it - feel free to email me. mike@inimical.com

12/21/05

Another quick one. The discography was mastered about a week ago. Now we are waiting on artwork. The discography includes; the demo, a live song from WoR's second show ever, the 2 7"s, the three split 7"s, all the comp tracks, an alternate recording of Blinded by Darkness, and the unreleased song "straightjacket". Well worth it. Due to pressing plant holiday closures it may take an extra week or two to get this back. Don't blame me, I don't take vacations.

12/09/05

The Whorehouse of Representatives Discography will be mastered at RFI studios in two days. So it should be out by the first few weeks of January. Very exciting. I am taking pre-orders for the colored (clear) vinyl. There will be 250 of these done, with 50 going to the various members of the band and 100 going to Rick's Label Un-Yelliman. So I will have only 100 of them. So act fast. That said, the Double LP will be $14, and the CD will be $8. These prices are postage paid. You can send them to my address listed elsewhere on the page. Cash or Money order to Mike Crow please. Also I have set up a PayPal account. You can send funds to mike@inimical.com I will figure out how to set up a shopping cart soon. I will finally update this website soon.

Just a quick update. I have a new address for the label. It is;

Inimical Records
c/o Mike Crow
P.O. Box 2803
Seattle, WA 98111

The old address will work for a few more months, but I am trying to erase its existence from the internet. Use the new one. That's All.

Well it is finally done and out. The Aldebaran-Sod Hauler split LP is done. It sounds great, I am very happy with it. I shipped about half of the records the first day. So the repress (which will be done on colored vinyl) shouldn't take too long to come about. First 300 on black, available from the usual places. Ebullition, Zion's Gate, Despotic Records, and StonerRock.com

Up next is the Whorehouse of Representatives discography. Other than that, I will say that I only have about 20 copies of the first press of the Slightly Less Than Nothing 7" on Red vinyl, so act fast on that. Second press is going to be on green or blue or something. Also, I am down to 140 copies of the first press of the Splatterhouse/ Gruesome Stuff Relish split LP. Things are going well.

7/9/05

Just a quick update. The Slighly Less Than Nothing 7" is done. Looks fucking great. Artwork by Joe Vallent. It is Skate thrash-stoner-grind, and if that doesn't make much sense just buy it and figure it out. first press of 300 on heavy Red Vinyl. $4 us/$5 can-mex/$6 world.

Also SLTN just got done with a 2 and a half week tour that killed and I would like to thank everyone who came out. We will be doing it again next spiring I believe, perhaps earlier.

In other news the work is done on the Sod Hauler/ Aldebaran split LP and I am waiting on artwork from Jason of Fall of the Bastards/ Splatterhouse. Also the long overdue Whorehouse of Representatives discography will be taken care of very soon. Check out Michelle's new band Unruly Bastards for some great punk rock. That's all for now. Of course some things will be announced soon, but for now that is it.
5/02/05

Only a month and a half between updates! Anyway, sorry the front page says the splatterhouse/GSR split is still "out soon", it is very much out now and is going rather quickly. A split release with Aborted Society pretty much fell into my lap, we will be doing the Slightly Less Than Nothing 7". I will have artwork soon. It should be out in less than a month and a half.

Still waiting on the finishing touches on the Sod Hauler/ Aldebaran split LP. I don't want to push to hard, I would rather see it done right. Also Sod Hauler is looking for a new drummer, if you are interested and in the area please contact Josh or jdmfkr@hotmail.com

In Inimical related news, Skarp finished tracking with Billy Anderson for their Alternative Tentacles debut, guest vocals were done by members of Impaled and Exhumed. So congratulations to them.

About half of the Splatterhouse/ GSR LPs are out at distros or in your home. Check Relapse and Ebullition for copies, Zion's Gate still has all my releases as does Electric Heavyland and Singles Going Steady in Seattle. Go get that shit.

The Sod Hauler side of the split LP was remixed and now crushes even more. The three songs recorded for this put the first release to shame and show a definately more metal side to them, check them out in May or June when the West Coast tour with Aldebaran happens. Speaking of them from what I have heard, their 20 minute song for their part of the split will be amazing. Jason from Fall of the Bastards will be providing the artwork. For the first Sod Hauler release check Stonerrock.com, Aldebaran's previous releases are there as well.

The Whorehouse of Representatives 2xLP should be about 4 months away (maybe more... buy a record to speed it up). Rick has begun work on the artwork/ layout, it should be good. More on that later.

There are other things happening down the road but it is too early to speak of them now.

2/3/05

I receive the Splatterhouse/ Gruesome Stuff Relish LP this week. It is ten dollars ppd from me. The mailing info can be found lower on this page. In the Seattle area you can get a copy at Zion's Gate Records, I think they do online sales as well. Check that out. Thats it for now.

12/3/04

I suppose for more frequent updates you could go to the Myspace page I set up. Dorky yes but I can put up mp3's with little hassle there. Also update show info with ease. As for the Sod Hauler/ Aldebaran split Lp/three week tour, all that should happen in mid to late April/early March.

Skarp will do a three week Canada-Mexico three week tour in arly April. Then the East coast later in the summer maybe. They are working on writing the next record I believe and it will come out on Alternative Tentacles, it will be called Requiem, as far as I know.

The Skarp CD has officially been out for like ten days, I have had them in my possession for less than three weeks, but we got rid of 125 already! Ebullition has some. Relaspe should have some within days I swear. They also took some of the Sod Hauler disc, in fact more of those than Skarp. A couple of California non-mail order distros have them. In Seattle I know Singles Going Steady has them. So that is where they are, that and my closet.

$8 PPD to;
Mike Crow
P.O. Box 2803
Seattle, WA 98111

Or email me at mike@inimical.com

In other news, Skarp cancelled the last week or so of their tour due to illness. They will make it up later in the summer or early fall.

Sod Hauler will enter the studio in July to record 2-4 songs that will end up as half of an LP with an as yet unnamed band, at least two of the songs will. They will be doing a West Coast tour the third week of August as well. I will post the dates later.

The Splatterhouse/ Gruesome Stuff Relish split LP will happen pretty soon. Work will start on it in about a month or two.

That's all for now.
